Based in Kinross, the Heart of Scotland, just a half hour journey from Edinburgh. Celtic Caterham offers you the perfect opportunity to immediately start your Driving Experience on some of the best roads in the World!

Hire one of our Caterham supersports, either in s3 chassis or sV (larger and more spacious) from a day to as long as you desire!
​
A week days hire will cost you £250 and includes insurance and 150 miles.
additional mileage is charged at 60p per mile and an additional driver costs £50.
​
A weekend hire is £280 and gives you 175 free miles and a later drop off time of 8:30pm.
​
Multiple day/car hire can see the cost per day come down well below £200. Under £100 If you add an additional driver to split the cost and share the adventure!

We offer great discounts on long weekend and 5 day hires!

Its a 20% deposit to reserve.

Collection is from 9:15am and drop off for 6pm weekdays and 8:30 weekends.

Our cars come with full weather gear and we take as much time as you need to hand over the cars (usually about 20 mins)

Drivers must be age 30- 75 to book online. We can accommodate hirer's older and younger but please get in touch first so we can check with our insurers.

OUR CARS
With its traditional Lotus Yellow body work this is a standout vehicle. It’s another SV car which allows more physical room and personal comfort for taller and broader individuals in both the driver and passenger seats. Its black detailing against the bright yellow makes this car really look the part, offering comfort and style in abundance!

What if I am buying a voucher as a gift and the person is nervous about driving the car?Caterhams are amazing vehicles that handle like no other, and so with all hires we take the time to guide the driver through all aspects of running the car safely and effectively so they will enjoy this driving experience to its fullest!

How do I know where to go or which routes will suit my plans?From Perth it’s difficult to decide on what path your journey should take… to help guide you we have put together suggested routes that are tried and tested by ourselves at Celtic Caterham, advising on journey times, famous landmarks, or beauty spots, camping and accommodation suggestions. These can be discussed with Ian any time.

What if I have point convictions on my driving licence, can I still hire a car to drive?Yes, it is still possible to hire a Caterham through us with current points on your licence, however certain criteria must met for a full and comprehensive answer please go to our bookings section; (link to bookings page)

Are there any age restrictions for hiring these cars?You must be between 30 and 75 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years driving experience. More information on these restrictions can be found in our bookings section (link) (If you are 25 or over with a full manual licence hire maybe possible subject to further insurance checks.)

Can I buy a hire as a gift?Yes! We have an easy gift voucher option. The voucher is beautifully presented with a branded envelope and can be posted out discreatley. The lucky recipient can book a date and choose a car at their own leisure. Do ensure the driver meets the age and licence critrea detailed in our booking info. There is a 12-month period for use from the date of issue.
